    Shave Soap vs. Shave Cream

Now that I have my DE razor it's time to choose some software. Which do you prefer?

Shave creams tend to be easier to lather, and lather quicker. So if you're new, I generally recommend trying out some creams before venturing into soap territory.

i noticed, but i enjoy the lathering process in general though and agreed, creams need less work to lather!

I like creams a lot, haven't tried soap yet but I agree with what Admin said about being new and slowly working your way into using soaps. I've always used the same cream but I have been looking for a good shave cream scent that gives a more masculine smell, any recommendations?

Shave soaps are convenient for travel in my
Opinion but I never tried. Where can I get
    Some free samples?

Shave cream would be more convient to lather.... go with shave cream than soap.

In general I prefer soaps but last month's box had that TOBS shave cream and that stuff Really knocked my socks off! I think that I will have to try Castle Forbes next.
